Advice From our PrimeSurro Mamas

Have you ever considered becoming a surrogate? Surrogates give the gift of life and help to build families by carrying a baby for intended parents. The process may seem unfamiliar or intimidating, but it's much simpler than one may realize.

Our past and current PrimeSurro Mamas shared some of their experiences throughout their surrogacy journeys as a way to help guide future surrogates.

Q: What is your advice for someone looking to start the surrogacy process?

A: "Just jump in. For me to decide, I missed being pregnant and I loved being pregnant but I don't want any more of my own. I think it's amazing to be able to give a family a child they would not otherwise have."

Q: What is the matching process like?

A: "It was really easy. After my profile was all set up, it just took a week and then I was selected."

Q: What would you say to those who are hesitant to become surrogates?

A: "It may be scary and sound overwhelming at first, but just thinking about giving someone this gift... it's so rewarding so far."

Q: What advice would you give to future surrogates?

A: "Each step of the way is really well planned out and it's really easy to follow along all the little steps."

Q: What was your personal surrogacy experience like?

A: "My experience was really great, honestly. It was beautiful to get pregnant for someone who couldn't have babies."

Q: What advice would give to someone who is thinking about becoming a surrogate but is undecided?

A: "Make sure you find the right company to go and help you along your surrogacy journey. I had been researching it for a couple of years, and the other companies I was finding were not as welcoming and comforting. And once I found PrimeSurro, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do and had found the right people to help me do it."
